Japanese cultural exchange tour
Our school organized a cultural exchange tour for P6 students to Okinawa (Japan), in order to broaden their horizon, and strengthen their self-care abilities. During the trip, students learned a lot and visited many famous sites, such as the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, the Ryukyu Kingdom Village, and local shopping streets. They also participated in different cultural events, such as an exchange program between schools, a brown sugar making tour, a workshop for hand painting Wind Lion God Statues in Kinman. Those events were meaningful and interesting and an eye opening experience for the graduating students. That allowed students to have great memories before the end of their primary school life.
The weather was fine, and our visit to Okinawa was enjoyable
Learning to play okinawa taiko drums was great
Painting Wind Lion God Statues in Kinman
We made delicious brown sugar. It was a satisfactory experience.
Student representatives from the two schools exchanged souvenirs and took pictures with each other!
