    General Studies, Mathematics and Computer classes as well as to the annual theme activities and extracurricular activities, all provide opportunities for incorporating related fields of science and technology. Through exploration activities in class, students’ interest in scientific experiments and scientific literature is cultivated. This should help to improve their problem solving and logical reasoning skills. It can also enhance their thinking skills, their creativity, broaden their horizons and help them develop a spirit of enquiry.

    Exploratory Study of  Science

    Students explore by applying scientific principles in real life through different science experiments.

    Lego Robot

    A task based program was developed in which students learned to make an operating robot.

    M-bot Robot

    STEM Engineer

    Students made use of a learning pack to assemble different mechanical objects. They conducted mechanical tests and made improvements.

    Application Program

    Students wrote a program using ‘Scratch’ and assembled a mechanically operative car. After that, they operated the car using this program and finished set actions.

    Taking part in different external competitions

     

    The whole school joined an activity called ‘Dynamic GOAL! GO! CAR.’. Teachers encouraged students to use their prior knowledge of Mathematics, Computer-, General- and other related studies to design a model car, carry out the necessary tests, make improvements and complete a learning log book. The students will show their efforts in a themed competition called “Dynamic GOAL! GO! CAR” on STEM Educational Technology Day.
